I don’t take my writing as serious as I should nor should others. Which occasionally has been what has happened. My writing has often got me in trouble. Something that has been amusing to the reader but not necessarily amusing to those I have intended my writing to be for. If anything at times with my short stories things have gotten a little tricky.

I write when I can and usually begin with a piece of flash fiction and if I think I can make a short story out of it, off I go. It is up in the air on what form I like better, flash or short stories. Sometimes all I write is flash. It is short, simple, and to the point

When I do write I can write for hours and edit for even longer. I find that my first draft of a story has too much information in it or sometimes not enough. Some of my stories can have up to ten drafts before I feel as though I have got it right.

I won’t be publishing any of my short stories on the blog but do intend to publish some of my flash fiction. The reason or logic for this is that I want my short stories published by others and not just by myself.
